Role Summary

The Human Resources Specialist is instrumental in supporting various HR functions, ensuring Clay Lacy Aviation continues to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the challenging and rewarding aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with recruitment and talent acquisition processes for diverse aviation roles, from technical specialists to administrative staff.
- Supports employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, ensuring a seamless experience for all personnel.
- Administers HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and industry best practices.
- Contributes to employee relations initiatives, engagement programs, and performance management processes.
- Maintains accurate and confidential HR records and contributes to HR information systems (HRIS) data integrity.
- Assists with benefits administration, compensation analysis, and payroll-related HR tasks.
- Fosters a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment for all personnel at Clay Lacy Aviation.
- Participates in special HR projects and initiatives as required to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
- Proven experience in a human resources role, with a strong preference for experience within the aviation, aerospace, or a related technical industry.
- Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in HR software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A commitment to discretion, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all HR matters.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
