Acceptance of First Officers to the A320 fleet with less than the minimum weight requirements may be considered with due consideration of an individual's overall experience and performance during the recruitment process.
The selection process involves a pre-employment medical check, including an HKCAD Class 1 medical*. Successful candidates are required to pass a pre-employment background check (including criminal records).
*Refer to HKCAD policy for the full requirement for fitness to fly (HKCAD Aeromedical). As the position is a Safety Sensitive Role, candidates must also pass a pre-employment drug test, following HKCAD Guidance for screening of Psychoactive Substances - Annex B, CAD373 (CAD373).
