Minimum Requirements

Prospective candidates for the A330 Direct Entry First Officer position are required to meet the following stringent minimum criteria:

• Hold a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a frozen ATPL.
• Possess a valid Class One Medical Certificate.
• Maintain a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
• Accumulate a minimum of 1,000 hours of flying experience on aircraft with a maximum take-off weight exceeding 10,000 kilograms.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 500 hours specifically on the Airbus A330 aircraft type.
• Have actively flown the A330 within the last 12 months.
• Important Note: Pilot Flying (P2X) or Pilot Non-Flying (P3) hours will not be accepted towards the total flight time requirements.
