Key Responsibilities
The Senior Cabin Crew Member will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Cabin Safety: Upholding and implementing all applicable safety regulations on board, taking ultimate responsibility for cabin safety and the well-being of all passengers and crew.
- Emergency Response: Providing prompt and effective first aid and managing emergency situations as they arise.
- Team Leadership & Cooperation: Leading the cabin crew effectively, fostering a cooperative environment with all flight and ground personnel, and ensuring seamless operational flow.
- Pre-Flight Preparations: Overseeing the thorough checking of emergency equipment according to checklists and preparing the passenger cabin to the highest standards before each flight.
- Safety Enforcement: Adhering strictly to safety protocols outlined in operational manuals and, when necessary, enforcing these regulations among passengers.
- In-Flight Service Excellence: Executing professional in-flight service, managing onboard sales efficiently, and ensuring an exceptional passenger experience throughout the journey.
- Passenger Welfare: Attending to the needs of passengers with a friendly and supportive approach during all phases of flight.
- Airline Representation: Representing Sundair with professionalism, a welcoming demeanor, and a pristine appearance both on board and in public.
- Operational Execution: Performing all necessary emergency procedures to guarantee the safety of passengers, cabin, and cockpit crew.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates for the Senior Cabin Crew Member position should possess:
- Certifications: A valid Cabin Crew Attestation (in accordance with EASA Part-CC.CCA.120) and a current Senior Cabin Crew Member (SCCM) Training Certificate (in accordance with EASA Part-CC.CCA.200).
- Experience: Proven professional experience as a Senior Cabin Crew Member.
- Medical & Screening: A valid Aeronautical Medical Certificate and a recent negative drug screening report.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both German and English.
- Service & Dedication: A high degree of service orientation, proactive engagement, and commitment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, flexibility, and teamwork abilities.
- Professional Demeanor: An open, friendly, and professional appearance, reflecting Sundair's brand values.
- Intercultural Competence: Strong intercultural understanding and adaptability.
- Travel & Residency: A valid and unrestricted EU passport (minimum 6 months validity); non-EU citizens must possess a permanent residence permit and valid work authorization.
- Connectivity: Reliable internet access, a personal email address, and telephone accessibility.
- Proximity to Base: Residence within a 50 km radius (approximately 1 hour travel time) of the Berlin-Brandenburg (BER) operational base.
- Security Clearance: A valid reliability background check (ZÜP) is considered an advantage.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
