British Airways | First Officer

BA Cityflyer is seeking motivated Newly Qualified First Officers to join its Embraer 190 (E190) fleet, operating from London City Airport (LCY). Requirements

• Hold a current UK CAA Part-FCL Licence (CPL(A) & IR) or be in training, having already passed the Instrument Rating.
• Achieved an 85% or higher ground school average with no more than three subject resits.
• Passed CPL and IR examinations on the first-series attempt (Series 1, Attempt 1 or Series 1, Attempt 2).
• Possess a current UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate, meeting British Airways' medical criteria.
• Demonstrate English Language Proficiency (ELP) ICAO Level 6.
• Hold a valid passport with at least 12 months remaining before expiry, enabling unrestricted worldwide travel.
• Possess the unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

Application Supporting Documents:

• Your pilot licence (or proof of Instrument Rating pass).
• The last three pages of your logbook.
• APS MCC and aUPRT course completion certificates (if already obtained).
• Your final course report from your Approved Training Organisation (ATO), including ground school results (with any resits) and CPL/IR results, or relevant CAA documents.

Pre-Employment Qualifications

Upon successful selection, candidates must have completed the following prior to commencing employment:

• Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (aUPRT).
• Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Co-operation (APS MCC) course.

Candidates in a hold pool awaiting completion of these qualifications or full licence issuance will be progressed once all elements are finalised.
