About the Role
The First Officer is integral to the safe and efficient operation of the Boeing 787, working collaboratively with the Captain and Cabin Crew. Responsibilities encompass all phases of flight, from pre-flight planning and inspections to in-flight monitoring and adherence to standard operating procedures. The role demands strong crew resource management, effective communication with all stakeholders, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. The First Officer will also manage administrative duties, including flight logging and staying abreast of operational changes.
Requirements

An airline transport pilot licence (ATPL) or a commercial pilot licence with instrument rating (CPL/IR) issued by UK CAA.

A Class 1 medical certificate issued by the UK CAA.

Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Extended (level 5) or expert (level 6) English language proficiency endorsed on the licence.

A minimum of 500 hours total flight time as a pilot on multi-pilot (CS-25) aircraft.

Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
Qualifications

Previous Boeing experience is advantageous.

Greater than 2000 hours on a Multi Crew Jet Aircraft is preferred.

A Boeing 787 type rating or a willingness to complete type rating training.

Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, navigation, and meteorology.
