British Airways Pilot Requirements
British Airways seeks experienced pilots to join its esteemed flight crew. The ideal candidate will possess a specific set of qualifications and attributes to uphold the airline's high standards of safety and service.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Current A320 type rating with a minimum of 500 hours on type (simulator time excluded).

Recent A320 family aircraft operation within the last 12 months.

Valid UK issued CAA Flight Crew Licence: ATPL (A), fATPL (A), or MPL.

Current UK Class 1 medical certificate with a minimum of 6 months validity remaining from the commencement of employment.

Height within the range of 1.57m (5'2") to 1.91m (6'3"). Applicants exceeding 1.91m may apply but will undergo a functionality check.

Proficiency in spoken and written English, ICAO Level 6.

A valid passport with at least 12 months remaining before its expiry date.
Additional Requirements:

Ability to comply with British Airways' uniform standards, including specific guidelines regarding visible tattoos.

Demonstrated ability to swim 50 meters (55 yards), tread water for 3 minutes, and assist individuals in water. This includes the capacity to tread water while fitting a lifejacket and subsequently pulling one's own body weight out of the water and into a life raft using designated handholds.

A good level of physical fitness.
