Required Qualifications:

  • Current UK-issued CAA Flight Crew Licence ATPL (A), fATPL (A), MPL or hold an EASA license meeting the "Third Country CPL and ATPL license conversion requirements" set by the UK CAA (route 3, 4, 5 or 6).
  • 500 hours of total time, or 100 sectors, on a CS25 aircraft.
  • The right to live and work in the UK or the ability to obtain a Right to Work visa.
  • Height between 1.57m (5'2") and 1.91m (6'3"). Applicants taller than 1.91m may require a functionality check.
  • Good level of physical fitness.
  • Spoken and written English ICAO level 6 proficiency.
  • Valid passport with a minimum of 12 months validity.
  • Valid class one medical with at least 6 months validity from contract start.

Pilots holding an EASA license who previously held a UK Part-FCL license must upload a copy of their previous UK license or proof of training completed in the UK in the application.

Important Notes:

  • Candidates not successful at initial screening may reapply after 6 months. Unsuccessful candidates at the SIM stage must wait 12 months.
  • Applicants may apply to only one airline within the British Airways family (British Airways, Euroflyer, or Cityflyer) at a time.
  • Long-haul suitability will be assessed during simulator assessment, with a primary focus on A320 recruitment.
  • Successful candidates will enter a hold pool and receive a maximum of two job offers.
