Flight Attendant - Full Time - Vero Beach Regional Airport

Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Provide an exceptional guest experience by warmly welcoming passengers onto our aircraft, assisting with seating assignments, luggage and garment stowage, and addressing any inquiries while remaining readily available for further assistance.
- Safety and Security: Maintain a secure and safe work environment for guests and team members by adhering to strict safety procedures and protocols.
- Professionalism and Teamwork: Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork by effectively communicating, collaborating, and showing respect for fellow crew members.
- Service Excellence: Uphold the highest standards of service by remaining approachable and accommodating, monitoring the cabin regularly, and adapting to changing schedules due to operational, weather-related, and unforeseen delays.
- Compliance and Training: Stay current with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements.

- Inflight Technology: Be proficient in using, implementing, and explaining Breeze's Inflight technology.
- Cabin Service: Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages (including alcohol) while maintaining the highest hygiene standards.
- Cabin Maintenance: Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organizational standards.
- Guest Instruction: Provide clear and concise instructions, including emergency and evacuation procedures, to guests.
- First Aid: Administer first-aid and medical care, if required, in the event of an emergency.
- Security Screening: Conduct security screenings in accordance with regulations.
- Autism Awareness: Complete Autism Awareness Training.
- Compliance: Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Height: Must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance and have adequate head clearance in the cabin.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to sit and buckle into the E190, E195, and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt.
- Appearance: Neat, well-groomed, and capable of making a positive impression.
- Service-Oriented: Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Hygiene: Adhere to the highest hygiene standards as outlined by the CDC.
- Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
- Vision and Hearing: Ability to pass a vision and hearing test.
- Security Screening: Ability to successfully complete security screening training.
- Drug Testing: Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.
- Background Check: Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check.
- Legal Status: Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and travel without restriction to/from the United States.
- Passport: Valid Passport book with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration.
- Alcohol Service: Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Relocation: Willing to relocate based on the company's operational needs, if applicable.
- Work Schedule: Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours if needed.
- Reporting: Able to report for work in your assigned base for your assigned trips.
- Reserve Assignment: Able to work "Reserve Assignment" in your assigned base.
- Attitude: Self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong desire for success.
- Appearance: Neat, well-groomed, and capable of making a positive impression.
- Piercings: Nose piercings are acceptable and must follow our company guidelines: Studs only: Single 2mm or smaller nose stud is allowed. Must be silver, gold, or gemstone. No hoops allowed. No other facial piercings are allowed.
- Teeth: No teeth embellishments in uniform.
- Earrings: No more than two (2) earrings per ear while in uniform.
- Tattoos: Tattoos may be visible while in uniform if they are within our Company guidelines. Our company tattoo guidelines will be provided during the selection process.
- Passport: All Breeze Flight Attendants are required to have a Valid Passport, with a minimum of six (6) months remaining at the time of application.
Skills and Talents:
- Physical Abilities: Ability to perform assigned duties, including standing for extended periods of time, lifting luggage (up to 50 pounds), closing overhead storage compartments (with a maximum push/pull force of approximately 50 pounds), assisting disabled passengers, pushing/pulling beverage and food carts (with a maximum force of approximately 60 pounds), and performing all safety-related procedures.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read announcements clearly and competently, give emergency commands, and communicate in the English Language.
- Problem Solving: Ability to turn challenges into solutions or alternatives.
- Teamwork: Ability to think independently while being a part of a collaborative team and work independently as part of a team without direct supervision.
- Conflict Resolution: Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation.
