The Opportunity
BAA Training is currently seeking highly experienced and qualified B737 NG Type Rating Instructors (TRIs) or Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFIs) to deliver comprehensive Type Rating training programs across its global operations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of future aviation professionals within a leading training organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts engaging and comprehensive theory and practical training sessions, ensuring strict adherence to approved training programs.
- Assesses and monitors student progress diligently, maintaining alignment with the highest standards, including those specified by Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) requirements.
- Completes all requisite training documentation with precision, ensuring meticulous adherence to all legal requirements and operational standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated prior experience as a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) or Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI).
- Possession of a valid TRI&IR or SFI rating.
- Holds an EASA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Achieved ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
- Accumulated a minimum of 500 hours of experience on type as a commercial pilot.
- Preference will be given to candidates possessing an additional 500 hours of experience as an Instructor in a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) on the specified aircraft type.
