Type Rating Instructor (TRI) / Simulator Flight Instructor (SFI) - BAA Training
BAA Training is actively seeking highly experienced and qualified aviation professionals to assume the demanding and rewarding role of a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) or Simulator Flight Instructor (SFI). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering world-class instruction and training within a high-fidelity Full Flight Simulator (FFS) environment, contributing significantly to the development of commercial pilots.
Essential Requirements for Aviation Instructors
Prospective applicants must meet stringent regulatory and experiential standards to be considered for this instructor position:
- License Requirement: Applicants must hold a current EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Instructor Qualification: A valid Simulator Flight Instructor (SFI) rating or a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) rating with a current Instrument Rating (IR) is mandatory.
- Medical Certification: Possession of a current EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Type Experience: A minimum of 500 hours of flight experience on the specific aircraft type, acquired in the capacity of a commercial pilot, is required.
- English Language Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency at ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Preference will be given to candidates who possess demonstrable prior instructing experience within the simulator environment, showcasing dedicated expertise in flight training methodologies.
- Instructor FFS Experience: Preferred candidates will possess at least 500 hours of experience providing instruction within a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) on the aircraft type.
