Essential Minimum Requirements for the Type Rating Instructor Role

Successful candidates must satisfy the following mandatory criteria:

• License and Certification: Possession of a current EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Instructional Rating: Must hold a valid Type Rating Instructor (TRI) certificate.
• Flight Experience (On Type): A minimum of 500 hours of flight experience on type, logged as a commercial pilot.
• Additional Ratings: Must maintain a valid Instrument Rating (IR) for any aircraft type.
• Medical Certification: A current EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• English Proficiency: Demonstrated ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates who can demonstrate exceptional instructional experience will be given preferential consideration. It is highly desirable that applicants possess documented TRI experience totaling more than 150 training hours.
