Position Overview: Aviation Instructor
The Aviation Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality flight instruction and simulator training to aspiring pilots. This position demands a thorough understanding of aviation regulations, training methodologies, and a commitment to fostering a safe and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Experience on Type: Candidates must possess a minimum of 500 flight hours on the relevant aircraft type.
- Type Rating: A valid type rating for the aircraft in which instruction will be provided is mandatory.
- Flight Time and Ratings: Applicants are required to hold a valid TRI (Type Rating Instructor) and IR (Instrument Rating). A minimum of 500 hours of experience on type as a commercial pilot is essential.
- Preferred Training Experience: Candidates with over 150 training hours of TRI experience will be highly regarded.
- Required Licenses: Possession of an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) and a TRI rating is a prerequisite for this role.
- Regulatory Compliance: The role is open to license holders certified under EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) regulations.
- Medical Certification: A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is required.
- English Proficiency: A minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 5 is necessary.
