Senior Aviation Pilot
A highly reputable organization seeks a Senior Aviation Pilot responsible for the safe and competent operation of corporate aircraft. This individual will serve as Pilot in Command as part of a required two-pilot flight crew, operating under the direction of management. Command status may be subject to restrictions based on weather conditions, airport complexity, crew qualifications, or aircraft mechanical status.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensures all safety responsibilities for assigned trips are met.
- Coordinates with scheduling authorities regarding trip requirements, itinerary, and ancillary details.
- Collaborates with management and maintenance staff on all issues involving scheduled or unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Total flight time: 3500 hours.
- Pilot in Command time: 1500 hours.
- Multi Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours.
- Multi-Engine Jet or Turboprop time: 1000 hours.
- No accidents, incidents, or violations.
- Class II medical certificate with the ability to obtain a 1st class medical certificate as necessary.
- FCC Radiotelephone Operator permit.
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate- Airplane Multi-Engine Land.
- Ability to obtain operational approval as a crew member for Washington DC restricted airport access (DASSP).
- U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Passport.
- Must maintain a primary residence in proximity of CMH that allows for early morning show times, late evening arrivals and the ability to launch within two hours if pre-advised of likely flight requirement.
- Must follow all Federal Aviation Administration, company policies, and associated regulations.
- Must maintain FAA Certificates and ratings as necessary.
- Logbook documentation for qualifications.
- Must pass a federal criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- International Experience.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation.
- FAA Type rating in the Challenger 300/350.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Compensation:
- Compensation Grade: SP20-011
- Compensation Range: $155,761.00-$202,490.50 USD
