  • This job is a member of the Pilot Recruiting and Development team within the Regional division.
  • This role involves providing essential support to American Airlines’ Cadet Programs by overseeing project management, conducting data analysis, designing program strategies, and performing forecasting. The position plays a pivotal role in shaping the present and future direction of American Airlines Cadet Programs throughout the entire organization. Effective collaboration is key, as you will work closely with different teams to successfully accomplish all program objectives.

What you’ll do

  • Regularly collaborate with multiple departments to effectively communicate the data-driven narrative of American Airlines Cadet Programs.

  • Generate data-driven recommendations for process enhancements to promote consistency and efficiency.

  • Gather from internal and external business partners.

  • Contribute to various strategic objectives of the department, including immediate and long-term staffing needs

  • Apply project management methodology and processes to formulate and oversee strategic cadet program strategies and other projects, with a focus on recruitment, selection, and program design.

  • Assists with program design, planning, and analysis.

  • Communicate with business partners and company stakeholders to ensure relevant information is provided to support the success of the American Airlines Cadet Programs.

All you’ll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or other related discipline
  • At least 3 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Detailed experience utilizing Excel
  • At least 2 years work experience in aviation

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
  • Skills and ability to build, manage, organize, and grow multiple pilot development programs that enhance the pilot career path
  • Ability to develop and manage mentoring for pilots at all stages of the pilot pipeline
  • Ability to generate reports
  • Ability to generate and present effective presentations
