Job Description
Airshare is seeking an accomplished and highly professional Managed GIV Captain to join its esteemed flight crew, based at Opa-locka Executive Airport (OPF). This full-time, experienced-level position offers a dynamic opportunity for a skilled pilot to manage all facets of complex and rapidly evolving aircraft operations. The Captain will collaborate closely with fellow crew members, ensuring the safe, efficient, and impeccable air transportation of aircraft owners, while consistently upholding Airshare's high standards of professionalism. Key Responsibilities
- Execute all aspects of complex and dynamic GIV aircraft operations as Pilot in Command.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and professional air transportation for aircraft owners and passengers.
- Foster effective teamwork and communication with all crew members to maintain seamless operational execution.
- Strictly adhere to all federal aviation regulations, company policies, and the highest safety standards.
- Contribute to operational enhancements and safety initiatives through proactive engagement and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a comprehensive background in corporate aviation, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Minimum of 4000 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) jet time.
- Recent corporate flying experience is required.
- Must be type-rated and current in the Gulfstream GIV aircraft.
- Hold a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Possess an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Meet all currency requirements pertaining to instrument flight time and night landings.
- Successfully pass an instrument competency check in the assigned aircraft category (GIV).
- Must reside within one hour of the assigned base at Opa-locka Executive Airport (OPF).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
