Air New England, a dynamic and safety-focused Part 135 charter operator located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is seeking a skilled and experienced full-time pilot to serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) flying the Citation Mustang. This role involves extensive charter operations throughout the Northeast and beyond, requiring a highly motivated and professional individual comfortable operating as PIC in a Citation Mustang and meeting all Part 135 PIC requirements, with additional multi-engine flight experience.
About the Role

Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) flying the Citation Mustang in dual-pilot operations.

Conduct comprehensive pre-flight planning, aircraft inspections, and ensure adherence to all regulations and company procedures.

Operate safely and efficiently within a single-pilot environment when required.

Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers and clients.

Maintain accurate flight logs and promptly submit all required reports.

Coordinate effectively with maintenance and scheduling personnel to ensure flight readiness and operational efficiency.

Represent the company with the highest level of professionalism at all times.
Requirements

2,000 hours of total flight time.

350 hours of multi-engine flight time.

FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land and Instrument Rating.

Must meet Part 135.243(c) PIC minimums.

Must have completed a Part 135.293/297 or 61.56/Instrument Proficiency Check within the last six months.

Current First-Class Medical Certificate.

Must possess a current U.S. Passport with unrestricted travel capabilities.

Strong understanding of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations, particularly concerning Northeast and New England weather conditions.

Excellent communication, decision-making, and Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs dictate.

Must reside within a one-hour driving distance of KPSM airport.
Preferred Qualifications

500 hours of multi-engine flight time is a strict requirement.

Significant multi-engine turbine time is considered advantageous.

Previous Part 135 PIC experience.
