Aviation Pilot

This individual will operate aircraft in a safe and legal manner. The pilot completes pre-flight procedures before every flight, verifying the aircraft is in an airworthy condition by signing off on the Daily Flight Log. A complete walk-around of the aircraft will be performed prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight. This pilot holds final authority with regard to the operation of the aircraft and is responsible for the safety of passengers, cargo, and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2000 total flight hours is required.
  • The candidate must have at least 1500 flight hours in the relevant category.
  • 1000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time in the relevant category is essential.
  • The position requires 500 hours of rotor wing turbine time.
  • The applicant needs a minimum of 200 hours of cross-country flight time, including at least 50 hours at night.
