Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew Specialist serves as a primary ambassador for the airline, consistently fostering a positive corporate image and driving customer loyalty. This critical role ensures unparalleled safety and comfort for all passengers throughout the entire flight cycle while providing exceptional customer service. The specialist is expected to maintain peak fitness and operational readiness, consistently aligning productivity with established company policies and operational standards.
Key Result Responsibilities (KRR)
Operational Readiness and Conduct
- Ensures punctual attendance, immaculate grooming, physical fitness, and compliance with all legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to assimilate crucial flight details, understand role distribution, sales targets, and specific security requirements.
Safety and Emergency Measures
- Instructs passengers on mandatory safety procedures, ensuring their well-being and security are prioritized at all times.
- Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement immediate remedial actions in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers essential first aid to passengers as required.
- Promptly reports any operational irregularities, technical malfunctions, or critical issues to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
Exceptional Customer Service and Revenue Generation
- Warmly welcomes and assists passengers with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines (e.g., Air Arabia and GACA adopted procedures).
- Delivers consistent, excellent customer service by meticulously addressing individual pre-bookings, specific requests, and general passenger needs.
- Identifies and compassionately assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following detailed guidelines in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supports the "Charity Cloud" program by professionally promoting on-board meals, retail products, and charitable services, thereby achieving individual and team sales objectives.
- Ensures the proper, secure handling and accurate reconciliation of all cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations.
Pre-Flight, Post-Flight, and Reporting Duties
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify the sufficiency of emergency equipment, catering supplies, and other specified equipment; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and confirming adequate re-catering and duty-free products are stocked prior to departure.
- Manages the orderly and complete handover and takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per adopted policies, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight discrepancies, and ensuring the correct closure and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Accountable to the Cabin Supervisor for overall passenger conduct; assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when officially designated by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional knowledge and safety competency by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures workshops, and ensuring the validity of all required licenses.
- Contributes positively to team performance, successfully meeting allocated sales targets and operational objectives.
Essential Candidate Requirements
- Age: Must be between 20 and 30 years old.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm (Female); Minimum 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Must be proportional to age and height.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the official cabin crew uniform.
- Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all demanding Cabin Crew duties.
- Swimming: Must possess the ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications and Languages
- Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required. A diploma in Travel or Tourism is highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures provides added value.
- Health: Must be fit to fly, maintain good general health, and be free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in both Written and Spoken English. Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
Work Experience and Competencies
- Experience Level: Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is considered a significant asset.
- License: An active Cabin Crew License is an advantage.
- Operational Availability: Must be capable of working complex shift patterns and extended working hours.
- Adaptability: Must demonstrate high flexibility and strong adaptability to frequent operational changes and busy schedules.
- Compliance: Proven ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
