Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers throughout the entire flight cycle. The candidate must maintain the physical fitness and readiness required to operate effectively in accordance with established safety measures and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Safety and Security

  • Instruct passengers on all required safety procedures.
  • Identify safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administer first aid to passengers when required.
  • Promptly report any irregularities or equipment malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.

Customer Service and Commercial Performance

  • Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, including data entry into aircraft logbooks per regulatory requirements.
  • Provide personalized customer service by attending to passenger needs and requests.
  • Assist passengers in distress or those experiencing difficulty in accordance with the Operations Manual.
  • Maximize on-board revenue and support the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting meals, products, and charity services to meet individual and team targets.
  • Ensure the secure and accurate handling of cash and credit card payments.

Operations and Administration

  • Conduct pre-flight checks for emergency, catering, and cabin equipment, reporting deficiencies to leadership.
  • Monitor cabin cleanliness and verify adequate re-catering and duty-free provisions at transit stations.
  • Manage the orderly handover of the cabin to catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
  • Complete post-flight briefings and assessment reports, including objective evaluations of team performance.
  • Maintain professional proficiency through recurrent training and ensure all licenses remain current.
  • Perform the duties of Cabin Supervisor when formally designated by the Captain.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered an asset.
  • Previous training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is preferred.
  • Must be fit to fly with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be presentable, friendly, and capable of maintaining a positive attitude under stress.

Work Experience and Requirements

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience in cabin crew, aviation, or the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • An active cabin crew license is considered a plus.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, adaptability to busy schedules, and the ability to work in shift patterns, including extended hours.
  • Proven ability to deliver results against set policies, procedures, and KPIs.
