Aviation Pilot - Required Qualifications

This position requires a candidate holding an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and meeting FAA and CAMTS minimum standards for the role. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to maintain currency in the assigned aircraft, adhering to FAR Part 135 regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, along with a positive commitment to the company's mission, client, and overall organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid U.S. state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and a valid U.S. Passport. They must hold either an Airline Transport Pilot or a Commercial Certificate with an Instrument Rating (Multiengine Land). A current First or Second-Class medical certificate is mandatory.

The candidate must have a minimum of 1,000 hours total flight time, including a minimum of 500 hours as Pilot in Command (airplane). A minimum of 200 hours of multiengine PIC time is required, including 100 hours in multiengine aircraft exceeding 12,500 lbs. The candidate should possess at least 200 hours of low level flight time (typical terrain), and have a minimum of 100 hours of PIC time within the preceding 12 months.

A heavy jet type rating is required for this position, along with previous or current USFS AKP or AKI rating. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, and meet all certifications listed above.

Aviation Pilot - Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include a jet type rating, prior experience working on USFS air tankers, and additional low level flight time.
