First Officer
Role Objective:
The First Officer is primarily responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft as Second in Command. This role operates under the direct guidance and authority of the Captain or Aircraft Commander.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides continuous support and input to the Captain to ensure all flights are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Acts as a professional brand ambassador for the airline at all times, upholding high personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to the duty of care and welfare of both crew members and passengers.
- Assists and supports the Commander in overseeing appropriate fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and the proper servicing of the aircraft.
- Ensures meticulous execution of all duties specifically outlined in the instructions and procedures detailed within the company's Operations Manuals.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum Education Level:
Licenses:
- Holds a valid ICAO 1st Class Medical certificate.
- Possesses a CPL/IR with MCC qualification, enabling eligibility for a Frozen ATPL.
Certifications:
- Successful completion of the GCAA Air-law exam (applicable to foreign license holders).
- Achieves an ELP Level 4 or above.
- Provides proof of completion of Military Service before joining (preferred) or proof of exemption.
Languages:
- Fluent proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
Experience Required:
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 225 flying hours for candidates aged 20-34 years.
- Minimum of 1,000 flying hours for candidates aged 35-50 years.

Information Security Risk (ISR) Requirements:
The First Officer is expected to read and comply fully with all company ISR policies. This includes diligently reporting any identified weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Successful completion of all required ISR awareness sessions and strict adherence to associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations are mandatory.
