Second in Command (First Officer)
A highly reputable airline is seeking a dedicated and skilled Second in Command (First Officer) to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft under the direction of the Captain or Aircraft Commander. The Second in Command plays a vital role in both normal and non-normal situations, contributing to a seamless and secure flight experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides continuous support and assistance to the Captain in ensuring flights are operated safely and efficiently.
- Represents the airline as a brand ambassador, maintaining a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance while on duty.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of both crew and customers.
- Supports the Commander in overseeing appropriate fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and aircraft servicing.
- Ensures meticulous execution of duties as outlined in the airline's Operations Manuals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- Licenses:
- 1st Class Medical certificate from ICAO
- CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL
- Certifications:
- GCAA Air-law exam (Applicable to Foreign license holders)
- ELP level 4 or above
- Proof of completion of Military Service before joining (preferred) or Proof of exemption
- Languages: Fluent in English & Arabic
Experience:
- Professional Experience:
- 225 hours flying time (ages 20-34)
- 1,000 hours flying time (ages 35-50)

ISR Requirements:
The successful candidate reads and complies with the company's ISR policies, diligently reporting any weaknesses or incidents to the appropriate Line Manager or the Information Security team. They must also complete all required ISR awareness sessions and adhere to associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
