Cabin Crew Planner
Location: Budapest
Wizz Air, a leading European low-cost airline, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cabin Crew Planner to join its team in Budapest. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant management of crew rosters.
Role Purpose
The Cabin Crew Planner reports to the Cabin Crew Planning Manager, responsible for managing crew rosters efficiently, safely, and compliantly, while driving system and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan crew assignments to enable the company's commercial program operations.
- Manage crew rosters effectively, prioritizing safety and compliance, and actively contributing to system and process enhancements.
- Construct crew schedules based on the commercial program and applicable duty time limitations.
- Optimize crew rosters to maximize productivity while adhering to all safety and compliance requirements.
- Oversee available crew resources to ensure program coverage, operational resilience, and achievement of targeted crew utilization levels.
- Foster cooperation between cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization, including Cabin and Flight Operations, Training Department, Human Resources, and Recruitment, to ensure appropriate staffing and qualification levels.
- Manage roster fatigue and wellbeing for over 900 crew members.
- Track, monitor, and modify cockpit and cabin crew rosters.
- Lead process and system improvement initiatives, including oversight of the HP bidding and Roster Preferences modules.
- Collaborate with Training Department representatives and Crew Training Planning regarding rostering principles and training requirements.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, including duty and flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1-3+ years of work experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in aviation or logistics is advantageous.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of AIMS Crew and Ops systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements is advantageous.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
