About the Role
Wizz Air is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cabin Crew Planner to join its dynamic team in Budapest. Reporting directly to the Cabin Crew Planning Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant management of crew rosters. This pivotal role also involves proactively driving system and process improvements to enhance operational excellence within a rapidly expanding aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically plan cabin crew assignments to effectively support the airline’s commercial flight program.
- Expertly manage crew rosters, ensuring optimal efficiency, unwavering safety standards, and strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
- Construct detailed crew schedules based on the commercial flight program and stringent duty time limitations.
- Implement sophisticated optimization techniques to maximize crew productivity while rigorously upholding safety protocols and compliance mandates.
- Monitor and allocate crew resources to guarantee comprehensive program coverage, robust operational resilience, and targeted crew utilization levels.
- Foster collaborative relationships with various cross-functional departments and stakeholders, including Cabin and Flight Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Recruitment, to ensure appropriate staffing and qualification levels.
- Actively contribute to the fatigue risk management and overall wellbeing of a vast crew membership exceeding 900 individuals.
- Diligent tracking, monitoring, and modification of both cockpit and cabin crew rosters.
- Champion process and system enhancements, with a particular focus on overseeing the HP bidding and Roster Preferences modules.
- Liaise effectively with representatives from the Training Department and Crew Training Planning regarding rostering principles and training requirements.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with all industry regulations, including duty and flight time limitations and comprehensive Fatigue Risk Management principles.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience
- A minimum of 1-3 years of professional work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience within the aviation or logistics sector is highly advantageous.
Education
- Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required.
Essential Skills
- Language: Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with AIMS Crew and Ops systems is a significant asset.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements will be considered an advantage.
- Analytical Prowess: Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
