Cabin Crew Planner
Location: Budapest, Hungary
The Cabin Crew Planner holds a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant management of crew rosters, operating under the direct guidance of the Cabin Crew Planning Manager. This position is instrumental in driving system and process improvements within the crew planning operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plans crew resources to facilitate the seamless operation of Wizz Air’s commercial flight program.
- Oversees and manages crew rosters with a commitment to efficiency, safety, and strict regulatory compliance.
- Develops and constructs crew schedules based on the commercial program, rigorously adhering to duty time limitations.
- Optimizes crew rosters to achieve the highest possible crew productivity while consistently meeting safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Monitors available crew resources to guarantee comprehensive program coverage, operational resilience, and targeted crew utilization levels.
- Engages in collaborative efforts with various cross-functional departments and key stakeholders, including Cabin and Flight Operations, Training Department, Human Resources, and Recruitment, to ensure optimal staffing and qualification levels.
- Assumes responsibility for managing roster fatigue and promoting the wellbeing of over 900 crew members.
- Actively tracks, monitors, and modifies both cockpit and cabin crew rosters as operational needs dictate.
- Leads initiatives for process and system improvement, including direct oversight of the HP bidding and Roster Preferences modules.
- Collaborates closely with representatives from the Training Department and Crew Training Planning regarding rostering principles and training requisites.
- Ensures stringent adherence to all industry regulations, including duty and flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management protocols.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of professional work experience.
- Prior experience of at least 1 year in the aviation or logistics sector is considered a significant advantage.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required.
- Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Hard Skills (Advantageous):
- Demonstrated proficiency in AIMS Crew and Ops system.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements relevant to aviation.
- Soft Skills & Competencies:
- Possesses strong analytical and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
- Exhibits a growth mindset and a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Commands excellent oral and written presentation skills.
- Shows strong teamwork orientation and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Possesses the capacity and willingness to live and work at the Wizz Air Headquarters in Budapest.
- Exhibits flexibility to undertake travel as required, away from the Head Office.
