The Role of the First Officer

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Prospective First Officers must possess the following mandatory qualifications and experience:
- A minimum total flight time of 1,000 hours.
- Possession of a current and valid EASA Part FCL (f)ATPL or ATPL.
- The pilot must hold a valid ME-IR (A) or relevant type / class rating.
- PBN (Performance-Based Navigation) endorsement is required.
- Successful completion of Advanced UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) or possession of a current multi-pilot type rating.
- Successful completion of MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) training or possession of a current multi-pilot type rating.
- A current and valid EASA Part FCL Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- The applicant must be able to pass a thorough criminal background verification.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
