The Role: Cabin Crew Member

Key Responsibilities

The Cabin Crew member will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests aboard the aircraft and ensuring their safe disembarkation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering clear and comprehensive safety briefings and ensuring strict adherence to all safety procedures.
  • Providing brilliant and attentive service to all guests throughout their journey.
  • Assisting passengers with special needs to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Making flying a positive and enjoyable experience for unaccompanied minors.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
  • Meeting new people daily and experiencing new locations regularly.
  • Demonstrating the ability to maintain composure and confidence under pressure, effectively managing unforeseen circumstances such as weather delays, technical issues, or emergencies, thereby reassuring guests of their safety and comfort.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Possession of Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of previous employment experience in part-time or full-time customer-facing roles, with a focus on caring for people and customers.
  • Possession of a valid passport with at least 18 months remaining until expiration.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
  • Current Australian First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Availability and willingness to work a 24/7 rotating roster, which includes early starts, late finishes, weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
  • Comfortability with the presence of cats and dogs on board aircraft, as they may travel from time to time.
  • Ability to reach a height of 180cm without assistance.
