Job Overview
This role is responsible for leading, supporting, coaching, and developing a team of customer service professionals across cabin operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance to all Virgin Australia Group policies, maximizing team potential and delivering memorable customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of approximately 130 team members.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience Managers to ensure the delivery of a truly Virgin experience.
- Proactively manage the health and well-being of team members.
- Work closely with leaders and people partners to address people-related matters.
- Develop and monitor team member performance in line with Virgin Australia's strategic vision and purpose.
- Foster an environment of strong teamwork and high engagement.
- Respond effectively to emerging people-related issues that may impact operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Year 12 qualifications or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience in leading large, diverse teams within a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in managing remote workforces to achieve positive personal and business outcomes.
- Experience within aviation cabin operations.
- Demonstrated people leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence and engage business leaders.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence, with the ability to understand and respond to behaviors effectively.
- Capability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large, diverse workforce.
- Strong understanding of working within the scope of an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
