Leader Crew Culture - Cabin Crew (Melbourne)
Virgin Australia Group seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as a Leader Crew Culture (Inflight Experience) in Melbourne. This is a full-time position within the Administration and Cabin Crew departments, reporting directly to the Crew Culture Manager.
As a Leader Crew Culture, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading, supporting, coaching, and developing a team of approximately 230 customer service professionals across cabin operations in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a diverse team, ensuring adherence to all Virgin Australia Group policies.
- Monitor team performance and proactively address challenges to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Promote a positive and supportive work environment, prioritizing the health and well-being of team members.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience Managers to deliver exceptional service experiences for all passengers.
- Work closely with leaders and people partners to resolve people-related issues and foster a harmonious work environment.
- Develop and monitor individual performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance skillsets and career progression.
- Foster teamwork and engagement, driving motivation and a shared commitment to excellence.
- Respond effectively to emerging issues and challenges, implementing solutions that ensure operational efficiency and maintain a positive working environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum Year 12 qualifications or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience leading large, diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading remote workforces to achieve positive individual and business outcomes.
- Experience within the aviation industry, specifically in cabin operations.
- Strong people leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and build trust within a team.
- Proven ability to influence and engage business leaders at various levels.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to discern and interpret behaviors, and respond effectively to foster positive outcomes.
- Ability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large, diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated visible leadership qualities.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and their application in the workplace.
- Solid understanding of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
