Leader Crew Culture - Cabin Crew - Sydney
Virgin Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join their team as a Leader Crew Culture within their Inflight Experience department. This opportunity offers both fixed-term and permanent arrangements.
About the Role:
The Leader Crew Culture plays a vital role in fostering a positive and high-performing cabin crew team. Reporting to the Crew Culture Manager, this role involves leading, coaching, and developing a team of approximately 130 customer service professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visible leadership and guidance to a large team of cabin crew members.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience Managers to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
- Proactively support the well-being of team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Partner with leadership and People & Culture to effectively manage people-related matters.
- Monitor and develop team performance, aligning with Virgin Australia's strategic vision.
- Cultivate a culture of motivation, engagement, and strong teamwork.
- Demonstrate responsiveness and a solution-focused approach to emerging challenges.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Experience in leading remote workforces and driving positive outcomes.
- Prior experience in aviation cabin operations is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and influence team members and stakeholders.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively manage interpersonal dynamics.
- Proven ability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large and diverse workforce.
- Solid understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and their application.
- Strong understanding and experience applying change management principles and practices.
