Leader Crew Culture - Cabin Crew

As a Leader Crew Culture (Inflight Experience) your role is to lead, support, coach, and develop a team of customer service professionals across cabin operations. You will ensure compliance to all Virgin Australia Group policies maximising our team's potential and delivering memorable moments every day to every customer.

Reporting directly to the Crew Culture Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring team performance across the cabin operational environment. In addition, you will be accountable for managing the health and wellbeing of our team members ensuring a proactive approach to our people's needs.

  • Display visible leadership to your team of approximately 230 team members.
  • Work alongside our Customer Experience Managers to ensure our people are delivering a truly Virgin experience.
  • Proactively support and manage the health and well-being of all team members and their needs.
  • Work closely with your leader and people partners to reach positive outcomes on all people matters.
  • Develop and monitor your team members’ performance in line with Virgin Australia’s strategic vision and purpose, taking proactive steps where needed.
  • Drive motivation and engagement and foster an environment of strong teamwork.
  • Be responsive and solutions focussed to emerging people matters that may impact the effective running of the operation.

What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum year 12 qualifications or equivalent
  • Leadership experience in leading large diverse teams in a fast-paced business
  • Leading remote workforces to achieve positive personal and business outcomes
  • Aviation experience in cabin operations
  • Trusted people leadership capability
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage business leaders
  • Emotional intelligence; the ability to read, monitor and understand behaviours and respond to affect positive outcomes
  • Ability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large diverse workforce
  • Visible leadership
  • Good understanding of working to the scope of an Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, techniques and tools
