Pilot-in-Command, EMB-505
TransMedics is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to join its dynamic aviation team, specializing in EMB-505 aircraft operations. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for aviation professionals to contribute to critical missions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Required Background and Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of total Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time is required.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) applicable to FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations is essential.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, iOS, and various internet-based programs, is expected.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are paramount for effective coordination and reporting.
Certifications, Licenses, and Special Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a current EMB-505 Type Rating.
- The ability to lift 75 lbs. up a flight of aircraft stairs is a physical requirement of the role.
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate is mandatory.
- A current First Class Medical Certificate and a clean record are required.
- Candidates must possess a valid and unrestricted passport.
- The successful applicant must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
