Solairus Aviation | EMB 500/505 First Officer

Solairus Aviation is seeking a qualified and experienced Phenom 300 Second-in-Command (First Officer) for a full-time position within a managed private aviation operation. This role is based at Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK) in Wheeling, Illinois, supporting the safe and efficient operation of a Phenom 300 aircraft.

About the Role

The Phenom 300 First Officer will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and prudent conduct of all flights. Responsibilities include comprehensive pre-flight checks, meticulous review of aircraft maintenance status, and thorough analysis of weather and airport conditions. The incumbent will uphold Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations, prioritizing the safety of passengers, the aircraft, and the crew. Accurate completion of all trip documentation is also a key duty.

Requirements

• Minimum 1,000 hours of total flight time.
• 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• 500 hours of multi-engine land experience.
• 100 hours of multi-engine land PIC time.
• 100 hours of turbojet experience.
• 75 hours of instrument time.
• Must possess a type rating on the Phenom 300 or a comparable aircraft.
• Requires a First Class Medical Certificate.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete annual ICAO international procedures training.
• Must reside within a two-hour drive of Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK) or demonstrate willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

• Minimum total flight time: 1,000 hours.
• Minimum PIC time: 500 hours.
• Minimum jet time: 100 hours.
• Minimum multi-engine time: 500 hours.
