First Officer Position
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during both ground and in-flight phases. A successful First Officer will exceed customer expectations while maintaining clear and effective communication with leadership, team members, and dispatch.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports administratively to the Chief Pilot.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient ground and in-flight operation of the aircraft.
- Anticipates customer needs and strives to exceed expectations.
- Complies with FAA regulations, Thrive's GOM, Operational Specifications, and adheres to department operating procedures.
- Maintains communication and coordination with assigned crew, dispatch, maintenance, and administration.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management or senior leadership.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2,500 hours of Fixed Wing Total Time
- 500 hours of PIC Total Time
- ICAO compliant
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Valid US Passport (not expired)
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi/Instrument Rating
- FCC Radio License
- Current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligible to fly internationally into any country or jurisdiction without restrictions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willingness to take on new challenges as the company grows
- Must reside in Las Vegas or be willing to relocate prior to the hire date.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have and maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to maintain the seated position in a small space for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- The majority of work is performed while sitting for extended periods.
- Interaction with customers and other flight crew occurs in a small space.
- Employees may be required to spend several days/weeks away from home each week while working.
- Irregular hours are expected, with potential for call-outs for flights or cancellations with little notice.
