Pilot in Command - Global 5000 Vision
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command for a Global 5000 Vision aircraft based in East Granby, CT (Bradley, CT - KBDL). This position supports a three-pilot account with a dedicated Maintenance Technician, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This account anticipates approximately 400 flight hours annually, with 100 hours under Part 91 and 300 hours under Part 135.
The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. He or she will adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while providing an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe operation of flight, including compliant crew and trip assignments.
- Completes thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel, acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes pre-flight aircraft checks, including maintenance status, to ensure mission readiness, and records discrepancies according to SOPs.
- Monitors and accomplishes aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) per SOPs.
- Delivers passenger briefings according to policy and regulation, providing exceptional customer service and attending to special passenger needs.
- Employs Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Provides exceptional service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborates with crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure consistent service, resolving conflicts in a constructive manner.
- Maintains all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns.
Qualifications:
- FAA Type rating in Global Vision aircraft is mandatory. Candidates without Global VISION experience will not be considered.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $432,000.
