Solairus Aviation | BD-700 Captain

Solairus Aviation is seeking an experienced full-time Global 5000 Captain for operations based at Opa-locka, Florida (KOPF). This Captain will be responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Global 5000 aircraft, ensuring the protection of passengers, crew, and equipment while adhering to all company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.

About the Role

The Global 5000 Captain will oversee all aspects of flight operations, from pre-flight inspections and maintenance status reviews to ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company policies. This role involves detailed trip planning, including weather and route analysis, and the accurate completion of all operational documentation. The position requires a commitment to safety and a high level of professionalism in managing the aircraft and its occupants.

Requirements

• Minimum 3,000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• Minimum 500 hours MEL PIC time.
• Minimum 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• Minimum 250 hours of instrument flight time.
• Must hold a current first-class medical certificate.
• Must be type-rated on the Global 5000 or a comparable aircraft.
• Must be available for on-call duties.
• Must complete annual ICAO international procedures training.
• Must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF or be willing to relocate.
