Bell Textron V-22 Fast Response Group (FRG) is seeking a V-22 Avionics Course Instructor to support the MV-22 Program at MCAS New River, Jacksonville, NC. The FRG team member works in a highly dynamic, joint enterprise team of instructors providing on-time relevant training to military customers. The FRG team member shall have a working knowledge of V-22 aircraft, training systems and military operations.The team member shall develop and execute highly effective V-22 training to Warfighters worldwide and assist team members to meet deadlines & goals as defined by leadership.Communicate quickly and effectively throughout the V-22 Training Integrated Product Team (IPT) to meet the V-22 enterprise requirements when assigned.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Provide leadership and project management capability across the spectrum of V-22 Training
+ Knowledge of Instructor Techniques and Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
+ Demonstrates excellent presentation and facilitation skills while delivering individual training, group instruction, and presentations.
+ Manage learning and development courses as assigned with responsibilities including designing, reviewing, revising, and evaluating training material.
+ Reviews and considers training evaluations and participant feedback. Identifies opportunities to improve training curriculum and communicates results and recommendations to manager.
+ Utilizes industry-standard training certifications to deliver off-the-shelf training programs, customizing material, as appropriate, to meet audience needs.
+ Takes initiative to continuously improve existing training materials and develop new participant and instructor training materials. Incorporates training materials, reference guides, handouts, and testing into coursework, as appropriate.
+ Train and guide other team members in presentation, material preparation, content and instructional methodologies. Provide training on instructional techniques to instructors when and if required.
+ Knowledgeable on the operation of military aircraft systems, development and delivery of training products, subject matter expert and experience on military aircraft systems, leadership and entry level managerial experience.
+ Responsible and accountable for supervising the development and delivery of military training products. Maintaining adherence to a standardized development for all media presented to the customer.
+ Evaluates customers comments and critiques to ensure all training requirements are met and takes required corrective actions.
+ Support V-22 Training IPT (Maintenance Trainers, Training Systems, Courseware, and Simulators), when requested.
+ Coordinate subject matter expert support, when required, for V-22 Training IPT.
+ Assist in design, maintenance and troubleshoot training databases.
+ Knowledge of SharePoint sites for the use of maintenance and upkeep of team information.
+ Develop and deliver military training products. Maintain adherence to a standardized development for all media presented to the customer.
+ Provide expertise on the operation of military aircraft systems, development, and delivery of training products.

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
+ Prior Military Training Instructor certification is preferred.
Position Requirements:
+ Demonstrated ability to instruct in an Electronic Classroom (ECR) and operate the applicable V-22 trainers and training devices needed to teach their specific MOS or NEC for the V-22 aircraft.
+ Served as a V-22 (includes MV-22B, CV-22B, and CMV-22B) Quality Assurance Inspector with recent experience.
+ Performed as an Instructor at a CNATT Fleet A/C-School, such as CNATTU New River, or Air Force equivalent, for 2 years or more.
+ Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Windows and MS Office software.
+ Can obtain a government issued CAC card.
+ 5 years of V-22 Aviation maintenance/operations experience is preferred.
+ Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills are required.
+ Ability to prioritize assignments and self-manage tasks is required.
+ Must have strong project management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
+ The V-22 Avionics Course Instructor shall have the knowledge and ability to teach the following V-22 system courses:
– Aircraft Familiarization
– Display System
– Electrical System
– Flight Control System
– Avionics System
– Wiring System
– Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR).
– Electronic Warfare System (EWS).
Must conform to personal appearance and grooming standards set forth by the military customer.
