Star Wings Seeks Experienced Training Captains (SFI/TRI)
Position Summary
Star Wings is currently inviting highly qualified and dedicated aviation professionals to apply for the prestigious role of Training Captain / Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) / Type Rating Instructor (TRI). Minimum Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
Licensing and Certification
- Applicants must hold a current EASA Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
- Current certification as both a Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) and a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) is mandatory.
- A valid Type Rating for the required aircraft is essential.
- A current Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate must be maintained.
- Demonstrated English Language Proficiency (ELP) at ICAO Level 4 or higher is required.
Mandatory Flight Experience
Candidates must satisfy the following minimum flight experience thresholds:
- A minimum of 1000 hours total flight time on type.
- A minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- Crucially, 500 hours of the total PIC time must be specifically accumulated on the required aircraft type.
Additional Requirements
- Fluency in German at a minimum proficiency level 4 is required for effective communication and training within the organization.
- Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.
- The successful candidate must be able to pass a comprehensive background verification check.
