Lufthansa Aviation Training Operations Germany GmbH, a leading European Approved Training Organisation (ATO), is seeking experienced Type Rating Instructors/Examiners (m/f/d) to join their team. This role offers full or part-time employment with an initial 18-month fixed term, based in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, or Zurich, depending on the specific aircraft type.
About the Role
LAT OPS DE specialises in providing comprehensive pilot training on Full-Flight Simulators, catering to over 20,000 hours of training annually for pilots worldwide. The Type Rating Instructor/Examiner will be responsible for conducting theoretical and practical training according to LAT OPS DE's standards, preparing training to meet client requirements, and developing training documentation. Opportunities are available for various aircraft types including A320, A220/BD500, EMB E1/E2, A330/A350, and Q400.

Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate

Valid Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA) type rating with a valid Type Rating Instructor (TRI) endorsement on at least one of the specified aircraft types, or a valid Examiner authorisation.

For A330/A350 positions: Valid MPA type rating with a valid TRI endorsement on at least one additional Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, or Embraer aircraft type, and a valid Examiner authorisation.

Minimum ICAO English Level 4

German language proficiency: Native speaker or C1 level (advanced language skills), or ICAO Level 5 "Extended".

Minimum of 500 hours of instructional experience in Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTD) or aircraft as a Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) or TRI.

Demonstrated experience in airline training.

Proficiency in MS Office.

High social and didactic competence, team player attitude, and customer orientation.
