Required Qualifications for Pilot Candidates

To be considered for a pilot position at STAJets, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine Land).
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • An established and verifiable home base.

Captain (PIC) Requirements and Compensation

Prospective Captains (Pilot in Command - PIC) must meet the following stringent experience criteria. Compensation for Captain roles ranges from $160,000 to $185,000 annually.

  • Minimum 4,000 hours of total flight time.
  • A minimum of 2,000 hours of fixed-wing Multi-Engine Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
  • A minimum of 3,000 hours of total Multi-Engine flight time.
  • A minimum of 250 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time in type.
