Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking highly qualified and motivated Part-Time and Per Diem Pilots to join its expanding operations across the United States. As a leading provider of Part 91 and Part 135 private aviation services, Solairus Aviation is continuously accepting applications from dedicated aviation professionals. Per Diem Pilots operate on an on-call day rate basis. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player committed to achieving excellence in every aspect of their performance. The position is remote, with operations conducted from various bases nationwide.

Essential Responsibilities

The Per Diem Pilot is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the assigned aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the aircraft is operated safely and prudently in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Reviewing the current maintenance status of the aircraft prior to each flight.
• Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Performing comprehensive checks of weather conditions, available facilities along the planned route, and designated airports, including suitable alternate airports.
• Ensuring all flights adhere strictly to Solairus Aviation's established policies and procedures, as well as all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
• Maintaining the highest standard of safety for all passengers, crew members, and the aircraft throughout the flight.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in a timely manner according to current company procedures.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC Time: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

In addition to flight hour requirements, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid aircraft type rating relevant to Solairus Aviation's fleet.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• The flexibility and availability to work on an on-call basis.
• The ability to complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Legal eligibility to work and reside within the United States.

Compensation

Compensation for Solairus Aviation crewmembers is competitive and based on market conditions, ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. The specific salary is determined by factors such as geographic location, extensive experience, aircraft type, assigned job duties, training received, and the specifics of the assigned client account.
