Gulfstream G400 Captain Position – Palm Beach, FL

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Gulfstream G400 Captain to join its operations based at KPBI airport. This full-time position demands a team-oriented individual committed to excellence in safety, service, and adherence to Solairus Aviation’s operational integrity. The successful candidate will be a collaborative professional contributing to the safe and efficient fulfillment of client travel needs.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G400 aircraft, ensuring all flights are conducted prudently and in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies. Specific responsibilities include:

Safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G400 aircraft.
Thorough pre-flight inspections, adhering to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Comprehensive review of weather conditions, flight route, and airport facilities, including alternate airports.
Meticulous maintenance status review of the aircraft.
Prioritization of passenger and crew safety.
Accurate and timely completion of all required trip documentation.

Qualifications:

Total flight time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) time: 500 hours
Turbojet time: 500 hours
Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

Type rating on a Gulfstream GIV or comparable aircraft.
Current First Class medical certificate.
Availability for on-call work.
Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
Residence within a two-hour drive of KPBI or willingness to relocate.

Compensation:

Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, depending on factors such as experience, geographic location, aircraft type, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
