Gulfstream G400 Captain - Solairus Aviation (KPBI)

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G400 aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures.
- Thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Comprehensive review of maintenance status and flight planning, including weather conditions, route analysis, and identification of suitable alternate airports.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew members.
- Meticulous completion of all required trip documentation according to established procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Total flight time: 3000 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) time: 500 hours
- Turbojet time: 500 hours
- Instrument time: 250 hours
Specific Qualifications and Certifications:
- Type rating on a Gulfstream GIV or comparable aircraft.
- Current First Class medical certificate.
- Availability for on-call duties.
- Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
- Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KPBI, or willingness to relocate.
Compensation:
Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, reflecting factors such as geographic location, experience level, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and assigned account. Salary data is derived from multiple industry sources and is subject to market conditions.
