Gulfstream G500 Captain – Seattle, WA

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated full-time Gulfstream G500 Captain to join its team at the KBFI airport in Seattle, Washington. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and safety-focused professional committed to excellence in all aspects of flight operations. Essential Responsibilities:

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Ensuring the safe conduct of all flights, adhering to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections according to the Aircraft Flight Manual.
Meticulous review of aircraft maintenance status, weather conditions, and facilities for both planned routes and alternate airports.
Maintaining the safety of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft itself.
Completing all trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3000 hours total flight time.
Minimum 1500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) flight time.
Minimum 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) flight time.
Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine Land PIC flight time.
Minimum 500 hours Turbojet flight time.
Minimum 250 hours Instrument flight time.

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

Must hold a type rating on the Gulfstream G500 or a comparable aircraft.
Must possess a current First Class Medical Certificate.
Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
Must reside within a 2-hour driving distance of KBFI or be willing to relocate.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $500,000 annually, based on experience, geographic location, aircraft type, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
