Position Summary

Solairus Aviation invites highly qualified and experienced aviation professionals to apply for the position of Full-Time Falcon 2000LX Captain. This vital role supports an exclusive flight operation based at Opa-locka Executive Airport (KOPF) in Opa-locka, Florida. Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Falcon 2000LX Captain holds ultimate responsibility for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft. Core duties include, but are not limited to:

• Exercising ultimate authority for the safe operation of the Falcon 2000LX aircraft during all flight phases.
• Conducting all flights in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and the established policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation.
• Ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft at all times.
• Completing thorough pre-flight preparations, including a comprehensive review of the aircraft’s maintenance status and the execution of a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Performing meticulous route analysis, including detailed checks of weather conditions, available facilities along the flight path, and assessment of primary and alternate airport suitability.
• Accurately completing and submitting all required trip paperwork and documentation in compliance with current operational procedures.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess significant flight experience, demonstrating a robust history of professional piloting:

• Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certification Requirements

Applicants must meet the following specialized criteria to be considered for this Captain position:

• Must hold a current type rating on the Falcon 2000LX or a comparable aircraft type.
• A valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• Must be capable of working and responding effectively on an on-call basis.
• Commitment to completing mandatory annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence must be established within a two-hour driving radius of Opa-locka Executive Airport (KOPF), or the candidate must be willing to relocate prior to employment commencement.

Salaries range from $50,000 to $500,000, depending on factors such as geographic area, specific experience level, equipment type/aircraft flown, complexity of job duties, required training, and the assigned account.
