Job Overview

Solairus Aviation seeks a Full-Time Falcon 2000LXS Captain to join an operation based at KJVY airport. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional teamwork and a commitment to excellence in all performance aspects. This role involves contributing to a dedicated team that prioritizes the safe and expert execution of client travel needs, upholding Solairus Aviation's core values of safety, service, and integrity.

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Falcon 2000LXS aircraft.
• Conducting flights safely and prudently, adhering to, but not limited to, the following:
  • Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
  • Performing a proper pre-flight inspection as per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Completing a thorough check of weather and facilities along the flight path and at intended airports, including alternates.
  • Ensuring flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Guaranteeing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
  • Accurately completing all trip documentation in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1,500 hours
• MEL PIC time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type-rated on the Falcon 2000LXS or a comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a first-class medical certificate.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence located within a 2-hour drive of KJVY, or willingness to relocate.

Solairus Aviation gathers salary range data based on market conditions from various industry sources. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by factors such as geographic location, experience, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and assigned accounts.
