Position Summary
Union Pacific is seeking a professional Pilot to serve as Captain or Second in Command based in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate will provide safe, efficient air transportation for company personnel throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, operating a fleet of three Falcon 2000 EASyII aircraft. This role requires a commitment to world-class customer service within a fast-paced environment, ensuring full compliance with company operational policies and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
Accountabilities

Report to the Chief Pilot and perform all flight tasks in accordance with established department operating procedures.

Exercise authority and make critical decisions regarding flight operations, including the initiation, delay, or cancellation of flights.

Complete all required initial and recurrent classroom and simulator training while maintaining necessary professional licenses, physical certificates, and aircraft currency.

Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements mandated by the FAA, relevant agencies, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including documentation and reporting.

Manage fiscal responsibilities related to aircraft services, including fuel, catering, and personal travel expenses.

Serve as a liaison between department maintenance staff and contract maintenance personnel to coordinate necessary repairs during travel.
Required Qualifications

Ability to report to Omaha Eppley Airport within 90 minutes of duty notification.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Valid driver’s license.

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.

First-class FAA medical certificate.

Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time.

Minimum 500 hours flight time as Pilot in Command.

Minimum 100 hours multi-engine flight time.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Turbojet multi-engine type rating.

2,500 hours total flight time.

1,000 hours flight time as Pilot in Command.

500 hours multi-engine flight time.

400 flight hours in Falcon 2000 EASyII aircraft.

Work Schedule
The position involves a weekly flight schedule with 8 days off per month. Pilots may designate 3 of these days, with the remaining 5 scheduled by the department to meet operational requirements, taking individual pilot preferences into consideration.
