Kalitta Charters is seeking a Captain to operate Learjet 35 and Falcon 20 aircraft. This full-time position is based in Ypsilanti, MI, offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off roster.

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Learjet 35 and Falcon 20 aircraft for Kalitta Charters. This role requires a high level of professionalism, extensive flight experience, and a commitment to safety. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of flight operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

High School Diploma or GED

A valid unrestricted driver’s license

A valid unrestricted US passport

First Class Medical Certificate

FAA Commercial Pilot License with an Instrument Rating

FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit

2,000+ total flight hours

1,000+ multi-engine flight hours

Proficiency in basic MS Office applications, computer software, and internet navigation

Ability to pass a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check

Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and flexibility

Qualifications

ATPL or CPL license
