Overview

Solairus Aviation is actively recruiting a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Challenger 300 Captain to join a dynamic operation based at KHPN airport in White Plains, New York. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• The Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 300 aircraft.
• Conducts all flights in a safe, prudent, and regulatory-compliant manner, adhering to but not limited to the following critical procedures:
  • Thoroughly reviews the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to each flight.
  • Performs a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducts detailed checks of weather conditions and facility information along the planned route, including designated alternate airports.
  • Ensures all flight operations are conducted in strict accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Maintains the highest level of safety for all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
  • Accurately completes all required trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC).
• Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL).
• Minimum 500 hours MEL PIC.
• Minimum 500 hours in Turbo Jet aircraft.
• Minimum 250 hours instrument flight time.

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on the Challenger 300 or a comparable aircraft.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate required.
• Availability to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
• Must maintain primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or be willing to relocate.

Compensation for Solairus crewmembers typically ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, influenced by factors such as geographic area, individual experience, aircraft type, specific job duties, training levels, and assigned client accounts.
