Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Global 6500 Captain holds paramount responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting all flights in a prudent manner and in rigorous adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Specific duties include:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Global 6500 aircraft.
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to each flight.
• Conducting a thorough pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Completing a comprehensive check of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route and at all designated airports, including alternate airports.
• Ensuring flights are conducted in strict accordance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures and all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Guaranteeing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess an exemplary flight record and meet the following minimum experience requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC Time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Possession of a current Global 6500 type rating or a type rating on a comparable aircraft is essential.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate is required.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to operational demands.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive from KFRG airport, or a willingness to relocate to the area.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crewmembers are compensated competitively, with salaries ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually. Compensation is determined by factors such as geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft flown, specific job duties, training requirements, and the assigned account.
