Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G500 Captain to join their operation based at KSNA in Santa Ana, California. This role is responsible for the safe and expert operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft, meeting client travel needs while upholding Solairus Aviation's culture of safety, service, and integrity.

About the Role

• Responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to approved procedures and regulations.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Accurately complete all required trip paperwork.
• Review aircraft maintenance status.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Perform thorough checks of weather and facilities along the flight route and at destination/alternate airports.

Requirements

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Qualifications

• Type rated on Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a First Class Medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KSNA or willingness to relocate.
