Job Summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G500 Captain to join an operation based at KOPF in Opa Locka, Florida. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G500 aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and integrity are met for clients.

About the Role

The Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G500, adhering to all company policies, Federal Aviation Regulations, and the Aircraft Flight Manual. Key duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, planning flights by checking weather and facilities, and ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew. Accurate completion of all trip paperwork is also a core responsibility.

Requirements

• Total flight time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC time: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Qualifications

• Type rating on the Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft
• Valid first-class medical certificate
• Ability to work on an on-call basis
• Must complete annual ICAO International procedures training
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KOPF or willingness to relocate
