Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G500 Captain for operations based at KOPF in Opa-locka, Florida. This position involves serving clients while adhering to the company’s high standards for safety, service, and integrity.

About the Role

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Gulfstream G500 in accordance with Solairus Aviation procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations. Key duties include pre-flight responsibilities such as reviewing aircraft maintenance, conducting preflight inspections per the Aircraft Flight Manual, and assessing weather and airport conditions. The role prioritizes the safety of passengers, crew, and the aircraft, along with the accurate completion of all required trip paperwork.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
• A minimum of 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• A minimum of 1,500 hours in multi-engine aircraft.
• A minimum of 500 hours as multi-engine PIC.
• A minimum of 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• A minimum of 250 instrument flight hours.
• Type rating on the Gulfstream G500 or a comparable aircraft.
• A current first-class medical certificate.
• Availability for on-call duties.
• Completion of annual ICAO international procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF or a willingness to relocate.
